It means a lot for the 6th grade athletes to feel the support from the program and community. The relationships between players and community builds a special type of culture and it starts young here. Coach Hohertz begins pouring into these girls young and continues to build them up through high school. A big thank you to her and Coach Garcia for all their time, coaching and support. The Lady Lions Varsity Basketball Team plays a big role in the 6th grade girls basketball season as well. Another big thank you to those varsity players for making the trips every week to our league games. They see the importance in giving back and teaching the 6th grade girls the game.”
“I am super proud of all the 6th grade girls this basketball season,” added Ratliff. “There has been a lot of growth from day one until now and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them as Lady Lions.”
